Disney Spectacular

This event is new for the RCB Season, and our plan is to make it a Fall tradition of family fun.  Attendees are encouraged to wear a costume of their favorite Disney Character (including the Band).  There are pieces being arranged just for this concert targeting all ages from toddler up; indeed, some of these pieces have audience participation.  There will also be a “parade” of the costumes for all to show off and get grand applause.  The RCB will also provide special “conducting” batons for all to conduct the RCB!  As always, Jane Chambers will provide the always anticipated educational booklets.

Something Old, Something New

You know the rest of the saying… The RCB will feature the renowned teacher/performer/arranger Buddy Mattei as we “borrow” one of his latest arrangements.  We will explore the old/new/blue/borrowed spectrum from Neil Diamond to Taylor Swift.  Don’t feel “blue” and miss this one.

Out of This World

Anyone who knows conductor Robin Owens will attest to her devotion to all things space and space adventures. She is living out her dream with this performance with music from Star Wars, Guardians of the Galaxy and The Mandalorian, to modern pieces about the planets, older pieces by none other than John Philip Sousa, and even cartoons like the Jetsons.  The Eisemann Center will provide the atmosphere as well, making everyone feel like they are in space ready for an adventure.

March Madness

The RCB embraces the madness as we play some of the best marches ever written, such as March Militaire Francaise and Melody Shop.  We are also featuring the one and only Tom Fletcher on euphonium, a well known performer in the area and a member of the RCB.  We will also throw in a bit of St. Pat’s day music as well.  You won’t stop marching around after this concert!
